Last night we watched the finale of Lost (the TV series we have been hooked on for the last six years) .. so I thought I would share a photo of a truck .. lost on Main Street (smile) … The actor, Terry O’Quinn, who played John Locke in the LOST TV series .. was in Greenville last week. Maybe he is driving the truck or maybe that was his Ferrari in yesterday’s photo.

Today is theme day in the City Daily Photo community and the theme is red. Our contribution is Coca-Cola Red as seen on this Coca-Cola truck in downtown Greenville. For the record a Google search indicates Coca-Cola Red is number 484 on the Pantone Matching System.
Follow this link, to see how City Daily Photo bloggers, from around the world, have interpreted the Red theme.

There is not a lot to be said about this other than I like the colors .. this time of year red berries are a common scene in Greenville .. previously posted photos show thick bunches of berries on vines and how they add color to an overcast day.

This weekend I chanced upon the scene shown, a red headed young lady posing for a photo in a tree full of purple blooms … interestingly I almost missed the photo. Had I not looked over the side of the bridge the photo opportunity would have never been seen … once before, I looked over the side of this same bridge and took a photo of a beauty queen … a bridge with lots of surprises.

As a follow-up to yesterday’s red tulips, I am sharing a photo of a red Volkswagen Beatle with a ticket for parking on the wrong side of the road … Some of you may remember this previously posted photo of a red jeep parked in roughly the same location … big difference in their parking styles … Others may notice the petals, from the Bradford Pears, have fallen.

Once again I went looking for a photo opportunity on a cloudy and rainy day. Actually I went looking for a touch of color and found a chess board under the Main Street bridge. You may remember this past photo of tables, people, and a lamp post under the bridge.

I took this photo on Main Street recently and it raises the questions … Do you stand out from the crowd and why would anyone drive a gray car when red was available? Actually I drive a blue car. But a car like this makes me dream of the possibilities.
