The entrance plaza next to the Greenville Drive ticket office has been renovated, and the statue of Shoeless Joe has been moved there.
After a great deal of work, the renovated Fluor Field is open in time for the Reedy River Rivalry game series. This view highlights some of the new lettering.

As part of the Imagine Upstate festival which featured STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math), there was demonstration by the Roper Mountain Science center which featured chemical reactions. This explosion in a trash can sent many balls skyward along with the smoke.

The Return to the Green festival was held on Sunday at Fluor Field. Although the rain forced the parade cancellation, the festivals at NOMA Square and Fluor Field went on as scheduled.
On the last day of the regular season, the Greenville Drive, Class A representative of the Boston Red Sox, lost to the Savannah Sand Gnats (A, New York Mets). Had the Drive won, they would have advanced to the SAL playoffs.
This was also the last regular season game for the Savannah Sand Gnats, as they are moving to Columbia, SC next season to become the Columbia Fire Flies.
