I’m running short of time today so I’ll leave the interpretation of this photo for your imagination.

Following are a few signs, from around the world, which convey a similar message:

March 6, 2008 - A dewmocracy sign in downtown Greenville

A dewmocracy sign in downtown Greenville, SC. This photo was taken by Denton Harryman and posted at GreenvilleDailyPhoto.com on 3/6/2008.
I think of this photo as a sign of the times. It is politically related, a little torn (okay a lot torn), commercial, and humorous. I don’t normally share less than positive images however I thought this was timely and funny. The link is Dewmocracy.com where there is a pretty cool video clip called “A world without choice”. I took the photo in downtown Greenville. The sign was on a building scheduled to be renovated.

January 3, 2008 - A mystery - Ambassador Hotel in Duluth Minn

A mystery, why is a sign for the Ambassador Hotel in Duluth Minnesota on an abandoned warehouse near downtown in Greenville, SC. This photo was taken by Denton Harryman and posted at GreenvilleDailyPhoto.com on 1/3/2008.
First let me say that I don’t have the answer to this mystery and I’m hoping a local reader might share some insight. The mystery, why is a sign for the Ambassador Hotel in Duluth Minnesota on an abandoned warehouse near downtown in Greenville … The sign in near intersection of Welborn and Hudson. You can see it when walking on Greenville’s multi-purpose path which starts at the Linky Stone Park and will eventually extend to Furman University.
