While in the Pendleton Street area this weekend I took a photo of number 1266 the working studio for Glen Miller. I’m not positive however I think the painting in today’s photo is a self portrait by Glen Miller. Local readers should stop by and enjoy his art. This is one of the galleries we visited a week ago on the First Friday Art Crawl. The photo was taken from outside “looking in” … Maybe due to the wine consumed however once again I have to admit I don’t know the gallery name … I promise to visit again and report back. Like yesterday’s post this gallery is near the intersection of Pendleton and Academy streets in downtown Greenville.

A week ago Connie and I joined friends and went on the First Friday art crawl held each month in Greenville … quite naturally on the first Friday of each month. I enjoyed all the galleries and studios we visited but what stayed with me was this back room photo I took in a studio yet to be opened … Unfortunately I don’t have a lot of information about the artist or the studio however I promise to go back and find out more. I do know the studio will join several others which have opened near the intersection of Pendleton and Academy streets in downtown Greenville.
