It looks like Greenville will miss the snow and ice this weekend however there is plenty of rain. Today’s photo shows the same intersection, Main Street and McBee, as shown in yesterday’s photo. Note that I walked to and from work as normal however when it came to grocery shopping I gave in and took my car (smile).
Cold wet weather has arrived again in Greenville .. actually this photo was taken last weekend and I’m hoping there is not as much ice this weekend.
Yesterday the crowds on Main Street were unusually large .. I asked the reason and I understand there was an annual meeting and the crowd was changing venues. Actually the crowds on Main Street have grown larger over the years however not as large as shown in today’s photo.
Yesterday, at lunch, I went for a walk and enjoyed the weather. The sun was shining, the sky was blue, and the temperature was unseasonably warm. The photo today shows all those elements plus some colorful buildings on Main Street.
I took this photo on Main Street recently and it raises the questions … Do you stand out from the crowd and why would anyone drive a gray car when red was available? Actually I drive a blue car. But a car like this makes me dream of the possibilities.
