As a follow-up to yesterday’s photo about Mice on Main, today I share a photo of Sheila and a mouse … Actually I took this photo originally with the intent of capturing the bud light truck. Then our good friend Sheila playfully stepped trough the frame. And when looking at the photo after the fact I noticed a mouse sculpture I had not been aware of before … PS: Notice the netting on the Bud Light truck. This is so those serving beer can dispose of the bottles and if a toss is a too far no one is hurt by flying glass.

This photo shows one of the towers supporting the pedestrian suspension bride in Falls Park. To find out details about the bridge visit the Falls Park web site. There are two towers, each 90 feet high. Personally I like how the towers have floodlights on them at night.

This is the scene at the top of the stairs shown in yesterday’s photo … these tables have been shown in this past post … eating lunch under the shade of trees … and this photo showing the same tables under umbrellas.

Yesterday it rained in Greenville and I went for a walk to take a few photos. As you can see there were others enjoying a walk in the rain as well. The photo shows a man crossing the Swamp Rabbit bridge (map location) with the River Place Hampton Inn as the backdrop … The moisture is greatly appreciated and everyone has a smile on their face. Unfortunately we need many more days like today to replenish the water supply.

Today’s title is a small play on words given this path and the fountain it crosses is next to the Peace Center, Greenville’s performing arts center. About a year ago I posted another photo taken next to the Peace Center with a similar play with words. It was the ladder to peace … I promise to move on to non-nighttime-fountain photos tomorrow (smile).

I went for a walk last night to enjoy the sights and sounds or Greenville. Naturally I took a few photos as well. The photo I’m sharing today is of the restaurant Larkin’s on the River (map location). This photo was taken with a pool of water and a small water falls in the foreground with the Larkin’s patio in the background. The water is part of a fountain behind the Peace Center. The Reedy River is on the other side of Larkins … I recommend local reader take an evening stroll and enjoy the fountains Greenville has to offer.
PS: Abe, from Brookville Daily Photo, asked about the settings for this photo. They were: focal length 26mm, exposure time 1/10 second, aperture f/4.5, and ISO 800.
