Today’s photo show Bill Burns painting the set for an upcoming performance of Shakespeare. The next performance is “Pericles, Prince of Tyre” on May 15-18th. Connie and I have enjoyed every performance we have attended … Bill was gracious in allowing me to take and share his photograph. In addition Bill shared a little about himself. He is poet, painter, and professor. Also, as the photo shows Bill performs a pivotal part in preparation for the performances put on by the Upstate Shakespeare Festival … Following are few extra images:

October 30, 2007 - The Legend of Sleepy Hollow

This skull was a prop at the Upstate Shakespeare Festival presentation of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow performance in downtown Greenville, SC. This photo was taken by Denton Harryman and posted at GreenvilleDailyPhoto.com on 10/30/2007. On Sunday night we attended the Upstate Shakespeare Festival performance of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow presented in downtown Greenville. This skull was a prop used in the play. I thought the skull fit into the Halloween theme … I recommend the Shakespeare performances to local readers. Check the Upstate Shakespeare Festival website for a schedule of performances. They are free outdoor performances and are very enjoyable.
