The Cazbah offers Tapas, Wine, and Euphoria (repost)

In downtown Greenville, SC the Cazbah restaurant offers Tapas, Wine, and Euphoria. This photo was taken by Denton Harryman and posted at GreenvilleDailyPhoto.com on 10/25/2007.
I found the combination of the art, the table, and the Cazbah tag line appealing. This photo is of their window facing on to the street and was taken in the late afternoon. Actually I have posted several photos of the Cazbah in the past. My favorite was of a shadow in this same window.

The side entrance to Sushi Murasaki, a restaurant in downtown Greenville, SC. This photo was taken by Denton Harryman and posted on GreenvilleDailyPhoto.com on August 15th, 2007.
I was purchasing a takeout order from The Orient on Main and noticed the unusual effect shown in this photo … The door is a side entrance to the Sushi Murasaki, a very popular restaurant in downtown Greenville … What looks like pants hanging from the top is actually a half length curtain … We will have to guess what those in the scene were discussing.

The Lazy Goat restaurant on River Walk in downtown Greenville, SC
We ate at The Lazy Goat restaurant recently and were very pleased with the experience. I say experience because that is as important as the food … The food is great. In addition to pizza as shown in this photo they server many Mediterranean dishes … The experience is that of a causal upscale restaurant which encourages conversation, fun, and even song. For local readers (each table has one blue chair) be sure and ask what your obligations are if you sit in the blue chair.

Bride and Groom stop by Wild Wings restaurant in Greenville, SC
As part of the wedding planning series the Wild Wings restaurant is highlighted today. A reader has asked that I share photos of the venues to be used at her wedding. I have broadened the series past her request. So check back weekly for a new photo in the series. I am fairly sure Wild Wings is not on the list of venues however I thought this photo from my archives fit into the theme. Also, click here to see a photo from the July 20th post Kala at the Honolulu Daily Photo blog. The post show a bride in paradise.

Sticky Fingers provides drinking water for passing dogs (repost)

The restaurant, Sticky Fingers, deserves an at-a-boy for providing drinking water for passing dogs on Main Street in downtown Greenville, SC
The restaurant, Sticky Fingers, deserves an at-a-boy for providing drinking water for passing dogs on Main Street in downtown Greenville. In fact several restaurants do the same. Many of these restaurants also have free dog biscuits … The question is: Did I take this photo because of the dog or because I wanted a reminder that Happy Hour is from 4 until 7?
