Yesterday, I had to stand in line to take this photo of the fountain at Westin Poinsett … Greenville’s temperature dropped to 14 degrees and stayed below freezing all day … For those of us living in the South that is COLD but compared to Inverness Illinois at -19 it was relatively warm.

Today’s photo plays with light again. I tried to capture the light in the water from the Westin Poinsett fountain. Some readers may remember this previously posted photo of the same fountain when it was frozen and this photo of the fountain at night with Christmas lights in the background.

Everyone in Greenville is all a buzz about George Clooney filming the movie LeatherHeads in Greenville and the surrounding area. On Sunday one of the film locations was the Westin Poinsett Hotel just down the street from where we live. This photo is of a scene in which George rides up on a motorcycle.
Lessie, who publishes the Anderson Daily Photo, took a closeup of the motorcycle.

This is a follow-up photo to yesterday’s where I shared with you ice in the Westin Poinsett fountain. This photo was taken twelve hours after the photo with the ice. It was still cold but warm enough that people were out enjoying the Christmas lights on Main Street. I hope you enjoy as well.

Cold weather has arrived in Greenville. This photo was taken yesterday morning showing ice in the fountain in front of the Westin Poinsett Hotel. The winters are normally mild in Greenville but the last two days it has been cold! I was pleased with the lighting in the photo and that the fountain was flowing.
