I took this photo a short distance from where yesterday’s photo was taken. In fact they were both taken on Saturday afternoon. As you can see I chose to push the color saturation and personally I feel it does a good job of showing the mood of the day. Bright and colorful.

One of our favorite events .. during spring and fall Greenville offers moonlight movies, on Wednesday night, at the amphitheater behind the Peace Center and next to the Reedy River. We try not to miss any and we lobby for the season to be extended. The photo shows a scene from the Creature from the Black Lagoon. The sub title says “Only, they say, nobody has ever come back to prove it”. The buildings in the background are; The Hampton Inn in on the left and the Terrace Condo’s are on the right.

During spring colors change week by week. Purple is the most common color at present soon to be replaced.

Today’s photo shows bicycles, people, and birds perched on the rocks next to the Reedy River. A nice place to stop for a rest, cool off in the shade, and enjoy the day.

On Sunday evening I went for a walk just as the sun was about to sit. Across from where we live, in downtown Greenville, I captured some evening sunlight in the grass next to the Reedy River … I feel the jeep adds a since of adventure to the photo even though the photo was taken in the center of a city.

Yesterday it rained in Greenville and I went for a walk to take a few photos. As you can see there were others enjoying a walk in the rain as well. The photo shows a man crossing the Swamp Rabbit bridge (map location) with the River Place Hampton Inn as the backdrop … The moisture is greatly appreciated and everyone has a smile on their face. Unfortunately we need many more days like today to replenish the water supply.
