Flag and workman on the Liberty building in downtown Greenville, SC. This photo was taken by Denton Harryman and posted at GreenvilleDailyPhoto.com on 7/3/2008.
In the lead up to the 4th of July I thought I would share this photo of workmen and the US flag hanging from the side of the Liberty building (map location). Actually the flag has hung, on the Liberty building, for seven years. However, this photo was taken yesterday … I’m not sure what the workmen’s task was.

PS: Brian, a long time reader and commenter at GreenvilleDailyPhoto, suggested that the flag was a replacement for the flag which had hung for many years.

The Liberty Building in Greenville, SC This photo has a unique perspective and it does a good job of showing how forested Greenville is. Note that all the trees you see are actually covering housing additions. When we first moved to Greenville we came from Texas and were confused as to where all the houses were … Here is a street level view of the Liberty Building.
