Bumper to Bumper

Last week the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus came to the Bi-Lo Center.  This was a popular regional school attraction, and a block of East Elford Street shown here was blocked off and served as special bus parking for the duration of a show.   This is a convenient place to park large vehicles during Bi-Lo center events, such as this previous event.

Traffic Trails

Light trails mark the traffic rolling into town from 385 on a rainy evening.   Many of them are heading toward the Bi-Lo center for an event – some of them are turning into the Church Street parking garage on the right.   The Bi-Lo center is hosting a Monster Jam event tonight and tomorrow night.

This photo of window shoppers and a baby in a front baby carrier was taken last November (notice the leaves) .   This Subway is located on North Main Street across from the Hyatt.

Helping Hands

TimTv brings his own style of creativity to the street.   Tim or one of his group is often seen on the street with stilts, Hula Hoops, juggling, and more while interacting with people.   Here, the two ladies had requested a hand for an entertaining escort across Main Street.

This is a peaceful evening on the Reedy River; a view from Riverplace shows the Wyche Pavilion and its reflection in the river just above the Swamp Rabbit Dam.   There are some newly fallen leaves on the river making their way toward the falls.
