On a walk earlier this week I took photos in McPherson Park (map location). As this photo shows if you plan to play miniature golf you will need to bring a broom to clear the leaves.

Yesterday it was cloudy and wet so I chose to share a photo which shows the Fall colors while matching the weather. The photo was taken in McPherson Park (map location) and shows leaves in a stream … Fall’s colorful show continues even after the leaves are no longer on the trees … Actually Greenville has many different varieties of trees which lose their leaves at different times … So more Fall colors yet to come!

Today I’m sharing a close up photo of the fountain in front of the Greenville Symphony Association building at 200 S Main St. The photo was taken looking into the sun so the light could be captured.

I’m sharing one more photo from Furman University today and I promise to move on to other subjects tomorrow. However, I really like the photo opportunities are Furman and I fully intended to return for another photo shoot … Today’s photo is of the rugby field in the evening sun … Lush green expanses of grass are a luxury in Greenville because most landscaping is dominated by our trees. Having originally being raised in Texas, where wide expanses of land were common and trees were rare, it is a treat to live in Greenville where the opposite is true. However, I found this photo especially appealing with all the open space … Also, please note the Fall colors. This will most likely be a taste of future photos over the next few weeks.

This fountain, at the Greenville airport, includes a sculpture of young boy with the wonders of flight around him. I also like the light and the reflections of light surrounding the young boy.
Big news: On Sunday Connie and I became grandparents. We are thrilled with this new chapter in our lives and know our daughter and son-in-law will be great parents … With this post I am introducing the world to Jack, our grandson.
Jack, our daughter, and our son-in-law are happy, healthy, and perfect in every way.

It rained all day yesterday and more is forecast for today, tomorrow, and the weekend. Given we still have drought condition the rain is greatly needed … In Greenville, often brings fast water to the Reedy River in Falls Park … What is interesting is the extreme differences between slow water and fast water.
