This bench, in Linky Stone Park, offers a view of the early morning sun as well as a place to listen to the birds welcome the day.

On this inauguration day I am sharing a photo showing morning sunlight on colorful columns in Linky Stone Park. Maybe just a little symbolism and the hope for a bright future … Happy inauguration day.

Recently I took this photo of these purple benches at Linky Stone Park (map location) … Personally I love the park and look forward to sharing it with my grandson as he grows … Each of these benches are sponsored by a grandparent … I like the idea.

Today, I continue bright colors on a sunny day. The photo is of Linky Stone Park which is a children’s park located under an overpass in downtown Greenville. Many of the columns, supporting the overpass, are painted primary colors while several have murals painted by Rick Forest. Last week I shared photos of Rick with lots of helpers adding a witch on the ginger bread house shown in today’s photo. Click here for a close up of the witch.

I had a very enjoyable photo shoot at Linky Stone Park (map location) yesterday which I am pleased to share today … Rick Forest is adding a few additional murals to his collection at the park. For local readers I recommend you stop by and enjoy his art. I am especially impressed with Rick’s murals that wrap around the columns supporting the overpass which Linky Stone Park is under … For anyone interesting in contacting Rick you can reach him at (864) 361-8403 or by email.

I would like to say thank you to the parents for giving their permission to have the children appear.

PS: Check back in a week and I will share a photo of the murals Rick is working on.
