Actually a lot is happening in Greenville this weekend and local readers may be too busy to set and relax. The Scottish bag pipe parade was on Friday, followed by music, and then the Scottish games on Saturday. Sadly, I am out of town and will miss the event for the second year in a row. I return today (Sunday) however it will be to late to capture a photo of men from Greenville proudly wearing their kilts.

As part of the Greenville Daily Photo commerce series I would like to introduce you to Kelly Lynch a local artist and small business owner in Greenville. Her studio is in Arts Crossing at 102 River Place. For our local readers we recommend you stop by and enjoy her art as well as the other artist at Arts Crossing. Previously I posted a photo of Doug Young who is also an artist in Arts Crossing.

Saturday evening I enjoyed a stroll down River Walk. I had not realized that the fountain at River Place includes a play area. I understand when the computer and water spouts are synchronized they will mimic a moving train complete with music. Notice the train tracks and the tunnel. The intent is to invoke a memory of the swamp rabbit train which crossed the Reedy River at this point many years ago.
