The sign in the window says “Grand Opening August 29th” … To some people this may be just another grocery store. However, for those of us who live downtown this will be “our store” … Can your tell I’m exicited? Our condo complex is a short four blocks away.

We returned from a trip late on Saturday and early on Sunday I shopped at the Publix (map location) grocery store shown in this photo. It is interesting how dependent one becomes on a grocery store. Especially if you want milk with your oatmeal and hot chocolate … I like this photo because of how the lamppost leads the viewer’s eyes to the background where the Poinsett Hotel can be seen.

Yesterday I walked by the McBee Station construction site in downtown Greenville. I was very impressed with the progress and fast pace at which the construction continues. I have included a couple of additional photos showing the construction site from the other direction and a photo showing that the number construction workers almost fill the parking garage.
