Arrows pointing downtown. This photo was taken by Denton Harryman.

The arrows, in this photo, all point toward downtown Greenville. I also like the architecture of the parking garage on the right. However mostly I like coming home after a week in Charlotte.

Rick Forest painting a mural on the side of Buncombe St. Scout Hut 9 in downtown Greenville. This photo was taken by Denton Harryman.

Rick Forest is painting a mural on the side of the Buncombe St. Boy Scout Troop 9 hut in downtown Greenville. The left side of the mural will have a rendition (with approval) of a Norman Rockwell painting showing a boy scout salute and the right side of the mural will have the Buncombe St. Boy Scout Troop 9 logo. Rick prepared this hand drawing of the planned mural. I’ll take another photo as painting progresses.

Those following our photo blog will remember several post about Rick Forest’s art work.

Easter Sunrise Service at the Wyche Pavilion in downtown Greenville. This photo was taken by Denton Harryman.

This morning many enjoyed a Community Easter Sunrise Service at the Wyche Pavilion in downtown Greenville. This was jointly hosted by the Mountain View Baptist Church and the Second Presbyterian Church. Reverend Richard Phillips welcomed the congregations and lead the singing. Reverend Stacey Mills delivered a powerful and stiring sermon. Music was provided by the Thornwell Brass and the Covenant Choir.

Following are links to a few extra photos. I especially enjoyed the early morning walk, the childrens Covenant Choir, music by the Thornwell Brass, the delivery of the sermon by Reverend Stacey Mills, and the ladies Easter hats.
