« day before | today | day after » 20060612_columns_900.jpg For the local Greenville readers; Can you figure out where this photo was taken? The answer will be added to this post tomorrow. Some hints: It is downtown (naturally) and there is a recognizable building in the background.

The answer: Eric and Rock were correct. What looked to me to be Roman Columns is actually a grave site at Springwood Cemetery. Click to see the site from a different perspective.

« day before | today | day after » 20060612_gold_room_6001.jpg As part of the wedding planning series the Westin Poinsett is highlighted. A reader has asked that I share photos of the venues to be used at her wedding. So check back weekly for a new photo in the series. Today’s photo is the Gold Room at the Westin Poinsett in downtown Greenville. A frequent visitor (Rock) posted a comment a couple of weeks ago indicating he and Jennifer had their wedding reception in the Gold Room. Click here to see photos from their wedding and reception.
