Military History Museum

The Military History Museum at the Greenville Downtown Airport held a preview opening on Veterans Day. There was a temporary display of WW1-themed items such as this model T ambulance. There were about 15,000 model Ts in service in Europe during WW1. The Model T chassis was shipped to Europe in a wooden crate. Upon arrival, the wooden shipping crate was attached to the back to create an ambulance. This is a reproduction of the type of Model T ambulance used.
