North Tower Building Sequence

North Tower Building Sequence

They say that Rome wasn’t built in a day.   But you can see the North Tower of Project One built here in 18 seconds.

I’m bending one of the rules for the ‘Daily Photo’ blog site series that calls for only one photo per day – there are 60 photos today!   I missed some of the beginning stages before I came up with the idea. The frames span from December 2011 to May 2014, although there is a gap of 3 months between frame 1 and 2.

Update: The last 30 frames and 18 seconds show part of the transformation from Piazza Bergamo to One City Plaza. One of the scenes includes snow cover.

Incidentally, climbing the stairs for the 6 or so stories to the top of the parking garage for the view solves a problem of how to burn some calories to justify trying another great restaurant downtown!

If you have a fast Internet connection, there is a larger view of the same photo here.

Thanks! A guilt-free meal in a downtown restaurant is worth the climb though.

Thanks – I used Photoshop for this. It did a great job of automatically aligning the features from one frame to the next. A few photos had such a large variation in lighting that it was not able to align them automatically but I could adjust them by hand.
