Inside the Whistle Stop at American Cafe

Inside the Whistle Stop you’ll find a model train that circles around the ceiling of the main dining and bar area. Near the back wall you’ll find a picture of the original American Cafe restaurant next to the board showing the daily special. When dining you may catch a young one enjoying a kids meal on the counter and bar stools kept from the original restaurant. Adults and kids alike can also go to the end of the counter and pull the cord to sound the whistle. In the additional dining space, the walls are lined with memorabilia with a Wurlitzer jukebox in the corner where you can play some of your old favorites. Just the place for anyone who has an affinity for trains or where you can experience a taste of the small town life.
