A fun filled day in the parks of downtown Greenville. This photo was taken by Denton Harryman.
We enjoyed another fun filled day in the parks of downtown Greenville. Photos, in this collage; include Children’s Garden at Linky Stone Park, Falls Park, and the Liberty Bridge. I especially like the mountain at Linky Stone and the overlook at Falls Park. Notice the pigions in the top right. I did not notice them until my observant grandson pointed them out. He has a good eye for detail.

A walk in the park with my grandson. This photos were taken by Denton Harryman.
We had a very enjoyable walk in the parks yesterday. My grandson was visiting and we strolled through the parks of downtown Greenville. The weather was perfect. We walked to the playground in Cleveland Park and along the way we enjoyed many adventures. We enjoyed a nature trail, the fighter pilot memorial, and a radio operated model airplane. We also enjoyed the train in Cleveland park.
The Lucky Bike shop on Sydney Street just off Poinsett Highway has done a great job creating artwork on the building to match the bicycle business. They perform bike repairs, as well as refurbish and sell quality used bikes, reCycling them, in effect. The building and the all the fixtures inside have also been recycled. Watch a short informative overview video created by one of their customers. There are also several good human interest stories on the Lucky Bike Shop Facebook page
Light trails mark the traffic rolling into town from 385 on a rainy evening. Many of them are heading toward the Bi-Lo center for an event – some of them are turning into the Church Street parking garage on the right. The Bi-Lo center is hosting a Monster Jam event tonight and tomorrow night.
Fans of the North Carolina-based Cook-Out restaurants were very happy when this Cook-Out recently opened across from the Cherrydale shopping center, on Poinsett highway. They offer a variety of fast food, specializing in burgers and shakes.
A couple dodges the rain as they pass the Matthew Campbell Studio & Gallery, located on West North Street, just off Main Street. The Gallery opened last year and features a variety of art and custom jewelry.
