Dark Corner Distillery

The Dark Corner Distillery is a very unique addition to North Main Street and has been open for several months.  It features a small gift shop, museum and working still, which makes “Moonshine” using traditional methods.

A Gingerbread man appears to be carrying on a conversation with an elf, while surrounded by the their two trees in the St. Francis Festival of Trees display in the Courtyard Marriott in downtown Greenville.  The festival is normally held in the commons area of the Hyatt, but has been relocated due to renovations at the Hyatt Commons.  The trees are located in the Courtyard Mariott, Hampton Inn & Suites-Riverplace, and several other locations in downtown Greenville.

Skaters in team colors

Skaters enjoy the ice while wearing their team colors on the day of the #1 regional rivalry game between USC and Clemson.

Ice Skating

Ice on Main, a public skating rink with real ice, has opened in the Village Green in front of the Courtyard Marriott at the corner of Main and Broad streets.   It has proven to be popular in the opening days and will be open until January 8, 2012.

O-CHA tea bar

Swan Lake color

These colorful trees are located at Furman University near Swan Lake.   This is the last of my autumn color series; most of the leaves in the Greenville area have now either fallen or lost their peak color.

Falls Park Colors

Some fall colors in Falls Park – the Liberty Bridge and falls can be glimpsed through the foliage.
