Chalk art found in downtown Greenville. This photo was taken by Denton Harryman.

There has been lots of chalk art in downtown Greenville lately. What is different is that the art is in prose instead of drawings. I like how how this artist used the steps to add an additional dimension to the art. Also, notice my shadow in the photo (smile).

Working on his computer while enjoying the shade on Main Street in downtown Greenville. This photo was taken by Denton Harryman.

While strolling down Main Street I snapped this photo of a fella working, on his computer, and enjoying the shade on Main Street. I love the trees we have in downtown Greenville. You can see he uses an Apple computer, is listening to music, prefers a railing to a bench (just behind him), and he keeps a pen handy (smile).

Brian Olsen t-shirts personally paint splattered by the artist. This photo was taken Artisphere held in downtown Greenville. This photo was taken by Denton Harryman.

After watching an Art in Action performace, by Brian Olsen, I noticed a lady hurrying up to a stand and asking if Brian was painting t-shirts this year. The answer was yes and the lady was very pleased. She presented an Artisphere 2011 t-shirt she had just purchased and Brian did his magic. I recommend you visit his website and view the Brian Olsen Art in Action videos. Better yet catch a live performance.

Kids learned to create and appreciate art at Artisphere in downtown Greenville. This photo was taken by Deton Harryman.

It is always fun to watch the kids at Artisphere. This young man was splattering paint in great Jackson Pollock style.
