This is a follow-up to yesterday’s photo about a typical breakfast in Greenville. Today I thought I would share a self portrait taken in Coffee Underground which is my favorite place to eat breakfast.

What a great name for a restaurant. Have a cup of java for me!!
Now that is a great picture..my anti spam word was “natural” and you look very natural in this photo.
lavenderlady – my word was “stunning” and I guess denton looks pretty stunning there amongst all that fabulous coffee!!!!
Hi, Denton.
I bet you have good coffee to relax yourself there. Good self-portrait.
GREAT photo…and you know, well you don’t know :-) but all the times I have visited Greenville I have not gone to Coffee Underground. Looks great and I will have to check it out next time I am there.
Cool! I didn’t even think about them serving breakfast!
Hi Denton, my anti-spam word was clever. Did you rig this device today? You were clever to take this natural and stunning self-portrait.
Hello, Is the underground in some ones basement, or mostly an attitude ? We have a similar place in San Diego, not really underground, but in a fold of the earth, so you go downstairs to enter. Old Sacramento has several underground restaurants, because the business district was raised to avid seasonal flooding, but some kept their original first floors, accessible through steep allies.
Richard (SAN)
Kate, bagel and hot chocolate.
Lavender Lady (Norma) and Jules, thanks.
Ben, actually I gave up coffee many years ago. But I sure to enjoy hot chocolate.
Ann, you should try Coffee Underground on your next visit. It is my favorite. They do a great lunch as well. The evenings include many special events such as music, poetry, and art exhibits.
Lessie, when we moved downtown we searched for the best bagel and found it at Coffee Underground.
Annie, the anti-spam software I use allows me to create a list of anti-spam words which the software selects from randomly. I chose words which are complementary.
Richard, for all those interesting in joining check out the join page at the the City Daily Photo community portal.
i would like to have bagel and hot choc too!
i usually go for Ice Choc. I am thinking of it now… hmmmm
The bran nut muffins are addictive. I had one at meeting and I’ve been hooked every since. I buy two of them a day. I break them horizontally, eat the bottom for breakfast and the top for afternoon snack.
Emmy, my favorite is a bagel breakfast sandwich with egg, ham, and tomato.
This shot reminds me of “Wilson…guy behind the fence” on the old TV show Home Improvements. :o)
