Lately, the weather has been warm one day and cold the next so I thought I would focus on signs of spring (smile). Actually the trees are blooming all over Greenville and I look forward to many spring photo opportunities.

Greenville thought big, as in think big with a gig .. in our effort to catch Google’s attention in our bid to participate in the Google Fiber for Communities experiment .. yesterday’s photo shows two thousand volunteers formed Google in large letters using glow sticks .. maybe the logo will show on Google Maps satellite view (smile). Today’s photo shows a street level (park level) view.

As part of Greenville’s bid to participate in the Google Fiber for Communities experiment, two thousand people formed Google in large letters using glow sticks. The hour long event was designed to catch Google’s attention .. To document the event there were at least another two thousand people watching .. each with a camera .. myself included .. also local and national media were there … and rumor has it a photographer, from Time magazine, was in the helicopter which circled the event. Bravo to the group called Google on Main for organizing the event .. The event hash tag is #GoogleOnMain

The title remindes me of the artist formerly known as Prince (smile) .. like many others we enjoyed the music and dancing last night .. also the wine, a hamburger, visiting for friends, and the great weather.

Walking on Main Street yesterday I took this photo showing two smart cars sharing a parking space. Good advertising.

Today’s photo shows the Wyche Pavilion .. a wedding photo shot is underway while the there are preparation for an event. The photo shows contrast at several levels .. beauty and function with symmetry as well.
