Today, the City Daily Photo community has a special theme day called The Tenin Technique. Our photos are a tribute to Eric Tenin, the author of Paris Daily Photo and the original member of the City Daily Photo community. Today is Eric’s 5th anniversary. Five years of inspiration … reflecting back on Eric’s photos the one photo which I remember as the most unique was when Eric stood on his chair, in a Paris cafe, to take a photo of the table from a very unique perspective .. so last night, in honor of Eric, I attempted to duplicate the photo at Northhampton Wines in downtown Greenville. It is a good thing they know me so I did not get thrown out (smile). Happy anniversary Eric, and best wishes for many more.

Great photo, impressive outlook and a befitting meal to celebrate this special day….
wow, perfect shot and looks a good meal too.
This is PERFECT Denton! I, too, thought of that particular shot of Eric’s for today’s theme, so I’m glad you were brave and stood up there to take this fab shot! There is even a wooden table! Very fun! Thanks for being such an influential, helpful, and inspiring member of the CDPB community for all these years, too! You are much appreciated,
-Kim

Good shot, Denton. Very teninesque!
Denton, I echo what Kim has said about your helpfulness over the years for many of us bloggers! Visualing you up on the chair makes me giggle. The photograph is a lovely tribute…well done, my friend!

Hey Denton, I finally found the time to look at all the touching tributes that you all did for my blog anniversary. Thank you very much.
Funny, because I remember the day I took the photo you mentioned as if it were yesterday.
Thanks again and see you in 5 years!
Very nicely done, Denton!
