Connie is out of town this week so I ate a hamburger at the Corner Pocket last night .. the game was enjoyable as the crowd cheered them on. There was a crowd however not as large as I had suspected. As I strolled down Main Street it appeared to me that the Super Bowl crowds were smaller this year than last.
PS: Connie is in Europe this week at the Front End of Innovation Europe #FEIEUROPE conference in Amsterdam. Connie was selected to be a guest blogger. It sounds like lots of fun however I suspect live blogging will be a lot of work. She has to listen to the speaker, blog at two locations, post tweets, and take the occasional photo. Then repeat for each presentation during the day .. Wow I’m tired just describing living blogging .. WHO DAT won Super Bowl 44? WHO DAT made an interception from Peyton Manning, just as he caught a ball in an ill-advised pass from Brett Favre weeks before during the NFL championship game?!! So glad that NO won despite knocking out the Vikings! They deserved to win!!
Well put Kate .. what did you think of the halftime performance by The Who? My daughter’s facebook status shared her feelings with the phrase “boo to the who” .. My first thought was surely we read, to her as a child, a Dr Seuss book with that phrase. Now it has come back to haunt me simply because The Who and all of us who enjoyed them are getting a little older (smile). I thought they played their heart out.
