This photo follows-up on yesterday’s photo .. I like the lighting contrast and shadows. The photo shows the entrance to Trio’s, a Brick Oven Cafe, in downtown Greenville.

The last few evenings there were clouds in the East and blue sky in the West. Today’s photo shows the Palmetto Bank building with blue sky reflected in the windows .. then on the walk home it hailed .. unique weather making for a photo opportunity.

While in the Pendleton Street area this weekend I took a photo of number 1266 the working studio for Glen Miller. I’m not positive however I think the painting in today’s photo is a self portrait by Glen Miller. Local readers should stop by and enjoy his art. I understand viewings are by appointment or during the First Friday events. Glen’s work can also be seen at The Hampton III Gallery. Click to see some additional works by Glen.

Yesterday, started out with fog however it cleared and by the end of the day I walked home in a short sleeve shirt and my jacket over my shoulder. Today’s photo shows the restaurant, Devereaux’s, in bright sunlight

This is a great time of year because blooms are starting to appear. Today’s photo shows a cherry tree in front of Mary’s Restaurant in the Historic West End of Greenville.

One week ago Greenville had snow .. then this weekend we had warm sunny weather .. today’s photo shows a staircase in Falls Park.
