It was a late night at the office yesterday .. on my walk home from work I took this photo of the flags at City Hall .. at some point in the future I’ll visit City Hall and see if there is a literature explaining the choice of flags to display.

Last night, on a stroll along the Reedy River, I took this photo of some landscape work which was underway .. the moving of an island .. The pool above the low water dam has had a small island, for the birds, for some time. Last night they were moving the island a short distance (100 – 200 feet) up river. I’m sure the ducks and geese will be happy when the work is complete.

My work schedule has been demanding lately and I have to admit that when I took this photo I was thinking how nice it would be to ride a bicycle to the Corner Pocket and have a Fat Tire ale .. or two .. or three .. also I thought the bicycle did a good job of accenting the advertisement ..follow this link for more information about the New Belgium Brewing Company and their Fat Tire brand bicycle brand.

Anyone living, working, or playing in downtown Greenville is aware of the roadwork. So I thought I would share a photo showing some of the equipment. When the work is complete the resurfaced roads will be great.
