As I left the office I told Connie I would be home by 6 .. needing a photo to share and wanting one which shows the blue skies which have returned, I chose to take a photo of the Greenville Transit Authority Transfer Center in downtown Greenville .. fortunately we live close by and I did in fact make it home by 6.

It continued to rain in Greenville on Monday and I found myself with no photo to share .. So last night I stepped outside and took a photo showing empty streets and reflections on a rainy night .. the photo shows West Court Street as it intersects Main Street .. just a block from where I live so I did not have to get too wet taking the photo (smile).

There was lots of rain this weekend which is always a pleasure .. Today’s photo was taken on Sunday Morning on my walk to Coffee Underground to pickup bagles .. Connie sent me out on my own on in the rain .. but I did not mind because I carried my unbrilla and camera looking for a photo opportunity.

Saturday, these two were displaying signs protesting the arrest of Marc Emory. One sign said Google Marc Emory and sure enough there is a Wikipedia page on the subject .. I have to admit I had not heard of Marc Emory before yesterday and I have no opinion on the issue they raise .. however I like the fact that protest can occur and that people have a right to express their ideas .. as in this photo, at City Hall with the US flag in background.

I have shown these abandoned railroad tracks on a couple of previous post .. you may remember Crossing a railroad tracks and when the rails were still on the tracks .. I like today’s photo because of how nature is taking over .. local readers can see the tracks when they take a walk on the Swamp Rabbit Trail.

Local readers will enjoy a visit to the Upcountry History Museum in downtown Greenville.

Connie and I went for a stroll recently just as twilight turns the sky a vivid shade of blue .. Today’s photo shows Trinity Lutheran Church, in downtown Greenville, with a twilight sky in the background .. Last Sunday, September 13, 2009, Trinity celebrated 100 years in the downtown Greenville.
