Earlier this week I posted a photo showing ducks seeking shelter under a bush. After taking that photo a crane Great Blue Heron was pointed out to me .. given people are taking the time to point out photo opportunities I thought I should share the results .. some of you may remember this previously posted photo (all the way back to 2006) showing a Great Blue Heron in flight on the Reedy River.
PS: Thanks to our readers my mis-identification has been corrected. This is a Great Blue Heron in the photo.

I met prospective clients at RiverPlace yesterday and while there I took this close-up of a piece of art on display. The art is Focus by John Warren .. in looking at my previous post it is interesting how many different presentations of the art can be found .. as for the prospective clients, we held our discussion at a Starbucks outdoor table .. we discussed the possibility my developing an iPhone app for them .. doing business in downtown Greenville is a pleasure.

Friday evening was a rainy and as a result we changed our plans .. we had planned on attending Friday Night Jazz .. instead we made a trip to Fresh Market, bought filets, then grilled and watched a movie on Netflix .. it was a good evening in. Today’s photo shows the rain as seen from our parking garage.

Wednesday evening the Greenville Symphony practiced .. and one of the pleasures, of living downtown, is watching the musicians on their way to the performing arts center .. you may remember the previously posted photo about taking your music to work and one showing members of the National Symphony Orchestra, hamming it up, after performing n Greenville.

This photo was taken a couple of days ago just as the rainy weather broke .. I’m sure there is a better explanation however it appeared the ducks were seeking shelter under a bush .. somehow I doubt the rain really bothered the ducks.
