
Tomorrow is theme day in the City Daily Photo community and BIG is the theme. Today’s photos is one of the photos I consider sharing, for the theme, given the Great Dane is a very big dog. The USA Pro Cycling Championship was held in Greenville this weekend .. we are out of town so I’m sharing an archive photo of more relaxed bicyclist .. you may remember my photos from past years showing the start of the race, the leaders, local favorite George Hincapie (number 211 in the photo), and a photo of the photographers who ride along with the bicyclist during the race.

The benches in Falls Park are are a pleasure to use and a pleasure to photograph. Over time I’m sure I will share a photo of each of the benches .. you may remember these past photos … my favorite bench and benches with swings.

Today’s photo shows the color wall of the Sushi Murasaki restaurant at in the intersection of Main and Washington .. this previous photos showing a yellow umbrella and the colorful wall, the Sushi Murasaki restaurant in morning light and a Coca-Cola sign on the wall.

The crowd enjoyed the music and the wonderful setting Wednesday night during the last performance in the 2009 Reedy River Nighttime Concert Series .. next week, on Wednesday September 2nd, the Moonlight Movies Series start and runs each Wednesday during September .. some of you may remember this previously posted photo from the showing of Funny Face at the Moonlight Movies.

An evening stroll in downtown Greenville is very popular .. as shown by the crowd enjoying Towne Square .. you may remember previously posted photos showing the benches and statue at Townes Square and detail in the statue depicting the envelope on which Charles Towne first noted his formula which lead to the creation of lasers.
