A visitor from Canada stops at Coffee Underground in downtown Greenville, SC. This photo was taken by Denton Harryman and posted at GreenvilleDailyPhoto.com on 7/31/2009.
This photo has it all: A bicycle, flags from Canada, one of my favorite places (Coffee Underground), and a sign inviting you to explore downtown Greenville .. I hope the story behind this scene is that a bicyclist, traveling from Canada, stopped in Greenville to enjoy our hospitality.

Another photo from the Greenville airport then I’ll start sharing photos from downtown again .. actually I have shown this fountain once previously .. however the perspective was from the other side of the fountain looking toward the GSP airport .. what I attempted to convey in today’s photo is how forested Greenville is .. we really do live in a forest .. and life is good (smile).

On Sunday I picked Connie up at the Greenville (GSP) airport. While waiting I strolled through the garden and took a few photos … I tried to find the name of the artist who created the statue and the garden however I found no plaques … whomever it was did a great job … in previous post I have shared some of the art work at GSP .. such as a young boy surrounded by the wonders of flightThree ObulatesRectangles.

Sunday morning Brad and Mary were out for a spin in Brad’s Model T Ford .. I was lucky in that they stopped for a cup of coffee and to enjoy the morning shade on Main Street .. my challenge was to try and take a photo which included as much of the setting along with this beautiful car, without including a late model car in the background .. thanks Brad for letting me share a photo .. have fun.

One Liberty Square in downtown Greenville, SC. This photo was taken by Denton Harryman and posted at GreenvilleDailyPhoto.com on 7/26/2009.
I took this photo because there has been a new sign added to the top of One Liberty Square. However from the perspective shown it is hard to read the sign so I have included a link to a second photo which does a better job of showing the sign on One Liberty Square … while posting today’s photo I did a Google search on One Liberty Square Greenville, SC and I have two of the top three links … my favorite is sunset photo of both One and Two Liberty Square buildings.

In a comment about yesterday’s photo Ann asked to see the front of the statue … so today the photo is a close-up of the statue … showing a smiling boy with outstretched arms … there are to be a story here.
