June 2, 2009 - Water droplets in a fountain (by Denton)

This is a follow-up to yesterday’s photo which showed the small feet of a child playing in a fountain. Today’s photo shows a wider view of the fountain. The theme of the fountain is a railroad train. The reason is that the Swamp Rabbit Railroad crossed the Reedy River at this point many years ago. You can see the track in the fountain. When children play they can hear the sounds of the train and as it approaches the water jets are choreographed to the sounds of the train.
