Today’s photo shows the Main@Broad construction project in downtown Greenville … most of my photos lately have include people and today’s does as well … you just have to look closely … It is interesting to watch a construction project on a daily basis however what I have found is that after a while I have begun to ignore the construction activity … So I thought it was time to look next door … Today’s photo was taken from the balcony of our condo.

Today’s photo shows mothers and their children out for a jog in downtown Greenville … as you can see the weather is great … in the background you can see the FYI center.

Saturday, I stopped by and took a few photos of Rick Forest hard at work painting a mural at Falls Park Golf and Games in downtown Greenville … For those interested in having Rick paint a mural his contact information is on his profile page at GreenvilleOnline
Many may remember these past photos of Rick and his work …

Yesterday was World Tai Chi day and Qigong Day … In Greenville, it appeared to me, the crowds have grown at this years event over those from the last few years … today’s photo shows one of the dances performed at the event held in Falls Park … there were also a lot of cameras at the event … a quick search found event photos at Phil Yanov’s facebook and I’m sure many more tomorrow.

Yesterday, there was a 24-hour art making juried event called Artist for a Greener Greenville Flat Out Under Pressure … Today’s photo shows Jackie painting a street scene for that event. The scene shows the buildings on Coffee Street … I understand the awards ceremony, reception, and exhibit will be at the Metropolitan Arts Council Saturday night from 7pm until 9pm … Also, I want to mention that you can see more of Jackie’s work at the Art Emporium in Easley.

The weekend is almost here and it is time to start planning your activities. One option would be to ride a trikke (smile) … another option would be to toss a ball around in the park.
