On theme day I’m sharing a photo of family treasures … The swan and bowl were gifts to my mother many years ago … the bell was a gift to my wife … It is engraved “Connie is the bell of the ball”.

PS: City Daily Photo bloggers may want to visit Edwin, who publishes Kuala Lumpur Daily Photo, to see a DP surprise … Eric, Edwin, and Keropokman smiling faces.
PPS: Thanks for your comments … theme day was lots of fun … For those who commented on the black background and the glass shelf, I though I would explain that these treasures are in a crystal cabinet which I inherited from my mother. We had the cabinet refinished in black. It comes with a glass shelf’s, a light, and a mirror on the bottom. I have included a link showing the crystal cabinet … Once again, thank your for your comments … I enjoyed sharing this with all of you.

What beautiful glassware, it looks like crystal, and a great take on the subject..

Hi Denton! Family treasures are the exact words! Beautiful work of art.
To answer your question about the flagpole, it’s a very high one, I was quite far to take this photo but with a 300 lens. Have a nice Sunday.
Absolutely exquisite.

Love the swan.
It looks really wonderful. And the reflection makes the photo even more shiny!
Wow Denton, I really love that spark of blue violet from the swan and seeing these beautiful treasures reflected in the shelf. That little hint of color is magical. Happy theme day, and a restful Sunday to you,
-Kim

Treasures indeed! Thanks for sharing them!
I love objects imbued with stories, in fact I’m just about to embark on a project based around that. Great choice.
Very nice… the play of light on glass and the dark background make it really dramatic… and the personal touch makes it very warm!
