You can see from the clock, in the background, I was late to work when I took this photo … today’s photo shows the morning sunlight reflecting on the stair railing at the old court house in downtown Greenville. Some of you may remember a similar photo of a stair railing behind the Peace Center.

Today’s photo shows a lamppost backlit by the sun in the Historic West End of downtown Greenville … The exciting news about the West End is the newly opened West End Movies dedicated to showing classic and independent movies.

An idea to live by … This sign can be found at Falls Park in downtown Greenville … From my experience Greenville does a good job of following this advice. Personally I have never noticed any littering in the park.

Earlier this week we enjoyed a meal at the Chicora Alley restaurant in downtown Greenville. The waitress pointed out the baby bird just outside the window where we were seated … Today’s photo shows the baby bird, his/her mother, and some of the lights in the tree.

Given it rained yesterday, locals will know I took this photo a couple of days ago … I think it is the rains this Winter which make the Daffodils look so good now … so in an indirect way this photo is current.

I took this photo last Sunday, a warm day in downtown Greenville. The snowboard caught my attention … maybe this guy heard we had some snow a couple of weeks ago.

This weekend I chanced upon the scene shown, a red headed young lady posing for a photo in a tree full of purple blooms … interestingly I almost missed the photo. Had I not looked over the side of the bridge the photo opportunity would have never been seen … once before, I looked over the side of this same bridge and took a photo of a beauty queen … a bridge with lots of surprises.
