We had fog again on Thursday morning. On my walk to work the fog started out heavy and then began to burn off as the sun rose in the sky. At one point the sun reflected off the glass of Liberty Square and refracted through the fog. It made for an interesting photo.

A great shot in the fog… I love it
How clever of you, Denton, to get this super photo to share with us. We’ve had a good deal of fog here in Portland the last few days. Tonight when I walked Duncan I noticed that it had already arrived. I’m going to take a photo of the streetlight, from the kitchen window, before I go to bed. I hope it will turn out good.
I’m glad you explained the sun and fog made those effects… I thought Obama had come to town.
that is a great shot denton! I used to work right below the liberty building and haven’t seen that reflection in too long. thanks!
I thought aliens had landed downtown. :)
Amazing catch Denton. Pretty cool…
Micke, thanks.
Lynette, no snow here yet. But that is not unusual of us. However, we have had much colder weather than normal.
Alan Orfi, funny.
Carolina John, I’ll bet drivers approaching the Liberty building don’t appreciate the reflection as much as I do as a photographer (smile).
Ed, it was an un-usual site. I walked to the building but the refraction though the fog was only visible from this specific angle.
ann in alpharetta, thanks it was fun to catch.
I love how it looks as though light is coming from inside the building. Nice work, Denton!
