Year end activity brings an increased work demand, long hours, and weekend work … Yesterday, Saturday, on my walk to work I took this photo of a jogger in the fog.
Denton, Saturday!? You obviously are working too hard. This photo appeals to me because I enjoy walking in the fog and my imagination can easily place me there. The glow from the street lamps are also appealing. Stay home today!!
I didn’t want to comment on this specific photo, but I have a general comment.
I just moved to Greenville Dec. 1st and have really been enjoying your photos. You do a fabulous job! I also wanted to thank you for mentioning the Jakarta site. I thought this photo a day was a one off sort of thing and lived not far from Jakarta in the mid 80′s. I also found from going to the main site that there is a daily photo blog for the city we lived in, Bogor. I’ve been enjoying looking at that site as well as the Abu Dhabi site since my oldest son and his wife live there and I hope to go visit in a year or so. These sites are great for pre-trip planning I think!
Virginia, thanks … It is interesting that I now see weather changes as a photo opportunity (smile).
Micke, thanks.
Kate, yes I have been working too hard. Since I support computer applications specific to Payrolls I understand from years of experience that yearend will be busy. Hopefully only a few more weeks then the workload will back off some … Sadly I worked Sunday as well.
Marc, thank you. I appreciate your comments.
Nancy, I’m pleased you like our photo blog and others in the City Daily Photo community. Personally I think we bring the world a little closer together through our photos. The photos and stories put a personal everyday face on different cultures around the world … You may be interested to know that Connie and I host the Jakarta photo blog as well as several others around the world.
Denton, what a beautfiful photo. My husband and I are moving from our life-time homestate of Nebraska to Simpsonville in February. I’m so excited to be able to take my walks outdoors rather than on a treadmill in the winter. Downtown Greenville is wonderful, I spend as much time as possible whenever visiting my daughter in Simpsonville.
God bless you this New Year.

I Love This Photo….I would like to purchase it but when I click on Buy Print, it goes to FotoMoto page but will not go any further. Can you please contact me and let me know if there is another way to purchase. Thanks, Linda
