This photo was taken on a recent walk through McPherson Park.

Today’s photo shows the Cherokee Indian statue in Linky Stone Park .. you may remember this previously posted photo of the Cherokee Indian statue .. A reader had asked that I visit the statue again to find out the trip which was being honored.

I found this construction scene unique .. I understand the explanation to be that the scaffolding was being taken down. The workers on top would remove a piece and then it would be handed down, one level at a time .. the scene is from the Main @ Broad project.

Although keeping your Christmas expenditures small is considered a good idea this year, I hope your Christmas is larger than this Smart Size Christmas tree … Following a list linking to a few of the City Daily Photo community post which include Christmas trees:
- Buckingham by Sarah
- Budapest by Zsolt and Zannie
- Newcastle by Beth
- Jakarta by Ollie and Santy
- Saint Paul by Kate
- Tuzla by Jazzy
PS: I’m re-posting a previous photo while spending time with family .. following is a link to a photo collage showing a wonderful family event which took place this Christmas … my daughter’s boyfriend proposed in elaborate fashion .. the answer was yes and we had a wonderful celebration.
Thursday night I was out looking for Christmas lights to photograph. What I found interesting was the red tint in the low hanging clouds which I assume was caused by a reflection from the lights.
PS: I’m re-posting while enjoying time with my family. Hope you are enjoying time with your family
PPS: Please let me know how the new theme works for you. Also, please try the e-card (see below) and let know how that works for you … Thanks
This cabbage plant does not appear to be very Christmassy however it was what caught our eye when walking on Main Street yesterday. Plus with a Google search I find that Cabbage is a normal part of the Christmas meal in Denmark. I even found a Red Cabbage Christmas Salad Recipe on the Internet. So I felt I can get by with passing this photo off as a Christmas photo. What do you think?
PS: I’m busy with family and chose to re-post a previous Christmas photo. I hope you are also enjoying family .. Merry Christmas … PPS: We are having cabbage for Christmas this year (smile).
PPPS: We are trying a new theme and we hope you like it. The theme is designed to focus on the photo. Hopefully you notice a larger photo without slower load times. Also given the theme has flexible width; those who use higher resolution, on their computer screens, should see the photo increase up to 900×600 pixels.
