It was cold yesterday and we have had more than our share of cold days this year. However, even with the sold weather Greenville still has flowering plants as shown in this photo which was taken yesterday.
PS: I just found out that Ollie, from Jakarta Daily Photo, was married on December 20th … Please drop by and wish the lovely couple all the best for their future together.

Frequent visitors will remember Greenville’s Mice on Main sculptures … Yesterday we noticed painted rocks placed by several of the Mice. I’m not certain however I assume, that in the sprite of the season, these are baby Jesus portraits.

We enjoyed an evening at Paris Cafe on Friday. This photo shows the place setting … I started to call the post “salt and pepper” however they were in the wrong order (smile) … We were celebrating our grandson’s 2nd month birthday … Some readers may remember this past photo of Paris Cafe.

Last weekend we stopped by the “iOpener” at the iPlace in downtown Greenville (map location). They have Mac computers, Mac TV, Mac accessories, and some really cool docking stations for your iPod.

Local readers will know this photo was not taken in the last week … Recently Greenville has had several days of rain and overcast skies … The moisture is great … The reason I am posting a photo taken over a week ago is because my camera broke yesterday … Actually the autofocus on my lens broke … Not to worry a new lens is being over nighted as I type this post … Hopefully, the new lens will arrive in time to capture a rainy day photo.

This is a photo with a story. Unfortunately, I don’t know the story … Last week, on my lunch time stroll, I took this quick snap of a promotional video clip being taken on Main Street … They took several shots of the lady saying something to the effect of “ACT, we want you in Greenville” … Maybe she was saying “ACC, we want you in Greenville” … Any locals know the story … Regardless, I’m sure whomever the pitch was being made for will be impressed with Main Street in the background.
