This fountain, at the Greenville airport, includes a sculpture of young boy with the wonders of flight around him. I also like the light and the reflections of light surrounding the young boy.
Big news: On Sunday Connie and I became grandparents. We are thrilled with this new chapter in our lives and know our daughter and son-in-law will be great parents .. With this post I am introducing the world to Jack, our grandson.
Jack, our daughter, and our son-in-law are happy, healthy, and perfect in every way.

Glad to hear the good news, and best wishes to all.
A fitting parallel… a young boy surrounded by the wonders of flight, and another surrounded by the wonders of life!
And I’m sure you all are flying higher than those birds!
Congratulations!
Welcome to the world, Jack!
Congratulations to all of you!! May he bring you as much joy as ours brings us. He is a handsome young man.
Congratulations to Mommy, Daddy and Grandparents…and Welcome Jack.
I really like the little water fountain/pool…something like it would be nice in a sunroom, a place of rest and peace.
WOW! Terrific news! Enjoy the little darling.
Capt. Ben, thanks. We are very excited to be grandparents … And I’m pleased you like the parallels I chose to share with today’s photo.
Galley, thanks. Jack is a lucky little boy. He has wonderful parents and loving grandparents.
Virginia, thanks. All our friends tells us we are going to love being grandparents.
ann in alpharetta, thank you. The fountain is actually larger than the photo makes it look. The boy and geese are life size so it might have to be large sunroom (smile).
Terri, thanks … I’m sure we have many adventures to look forward to with little Jack.
What I want to know is . . . will you carry Jack tucked in your arm like a football – just like you did his mom?
Congratulations Denton and Connie. Many thing have given happiness to my life. All things
fade to dim in comparison to my five GRANDS. The fun has only just begun…………………….
Oh, Denton, how absolutely wonderful for everyone. Thank you so much for the link to this awesome post.
denton, connie – congratulations! welcome to jack – what a wonderful event in your lives.
Connie, Denton, You have now joined that select band of people, called grandparents, and hold on to your wallets! These little guys know how to drain them !! We just got back in town, (retirement is wonderful!) and we were delighted to read the news and see the pictrure of slugger. We need to get together soon , best regards,
