This was a wonderful, full, and eventful weekend. As a result I am short on time and chose to share a photo of coins in a fountain at the Greenville airport.
PS: Galley, a loyal reader and frequent commenter requested a higher resolution copy of this photo for use as a screen saver.

Wow, what a photo! That would make an excellent desktop wallpaper. 1920 x 1200, please.
WONDERFUL PHOTOGRAPH DENTON!!! I enjoy it’s abstract realistic quality. This one is truley a collectible. If I didn’t have my own artwork taking up all my wall space, I would buy a copy & have it blown up to at least 5′x8′. GORGEOUS!!
Ditto Galley and Tom…AWESOME photo. This would be a great art print, matted and framed.
It almost looks like a reflection of a tree with unusual —somethings growing on it. Took me a second to realize it was coins.
Love this photo.
A wonderful photo for a wonderful weekend!
Thanks for your comments. Stop by tomorrow when I share big news and explain how wonderful my weekend was.
Galley, thanks. I have included, as a PS to the post, a link to a higher resolution (1920×1285) copy of the photo.
Tom, thank you, I’m flattered.
ann in alpharetta, thank you. Check tomorrows photo to see the complete fountain and what was being reflected.
Lavenderlady (Norma), yes life does not get more wonderful than this weekend.
Dear Denton,
are the coins thrown to the fountain for good wishes? is it taken from the one on 21st with the boy statue and the flying geese?
btw congrats for the new grandkid! Hooray you are a grandpa now!!!
Have a nice day then!
EXCELLENT photo, Denton, and congratulations on being a grandpa. It’s the BEST!
I can see why people want to blow this photo up and/or use it as a screensaver. It’s truly artsy and very unique. I just love it!
Ian, thanks. We are very pleased to be grandparents … Yes the coins are thrown in the fountain while making a wish. Also, you are correct the this is the same fountain as the one posted on the 21st with the statue of a young boy and flying geese.
Marsha, thank you. We are very pleased and I had to share the news.
Hi, i really liked the photo of the coins in the water–its very beautiful, and my best wishes to you and your family for the newest one!
