Saturday I enjoyed the ribs barbequed by Blockhouse. They also made a great photo opportunity … For lunch I had Fried Rice and Steak from MiMi’s Japanese Steak House … I hope everyone is enjoying a taste of Greenville during the festival.

The husband and I are going to try to make it down there this afternoon. I’m hoping to catch the needtobreathe concert at 5:00 pm. :-)

I had Pad Thai on Saturday, and the best part of the day was getting to know a new friend…delightful.
Today I tried those huge onion rings from the Blue Ridge Brewing Company…yummy! I also had another Thai dish later.
Carla, I hope you and your hubby had a great time at the festival and the concert. I ate lunch there, visited a gallery at Riverwalk and then made a road trip to Columbia to attend my daughters baby shower. Early in November Connie and I will be grandparents. Naturally we are very excited.
Rick Forest … Given that Connie and I live downtown we get to come and go at festivals. It is great to enjoy the crowds yet be able to easily escape for a while.
