It rained all day yesterday and more is forecast for today, tomorrow, and the weekend. Given we still have drought condition the rain is greatly needed … In Greenville, often brings fast water to the Reedy River in Falls Park … What is interesting is the extreme differences between slow water and fast water.

Wow! You’ve captured it looking almost scary!
One can imagine the hauntingly, beautiful roar of such an impatient, hurried water. It’s
as though an unshared agenda exists. Wow!!!
Lessie, yes the power of water can be scary. Especially when you are close to the water.
Rick Forest, water with “an unshared agenda”, very eloquently put.
I am thinking Rick is not only a visual artist, as in with paint brushes, but also with words :-)
I love this photo Denton, the night time at the river and the way the water falls look soft as angel hair.
Cool shot! I was in Greenville as a tourist in early August with my girlfriend while visiting her dad whom moved to western North Carolina a few years ago from Maine. The falls were nearly dry when I was there so glad to see some more water flowing now. Just wanted to say that I enjoyed your city!
