Last night we made one of our rare drives out of downtown Greenville. We joined a friend for a wonderful meal and good wine at Lieu’s Chinese Bistro (map location). While we were there they put on a fireworks display for us … Actually I think it was a display for family day at the General Electic plant just across the road (smile) … The good friend we met was Anneice Newkirk who is the Founder and Executive Director for the Mentoring Group which is hosting the Youth Economic Summit October 24-26.

Love, love, LOVE Lieu’s Chinese Bistro! My husband and I used to eat there once a week. They still recognize us when we go in, and we’ve never had a bad meal there. My fave dish is the Lieu’s Spicy Chicken, but I also love the Crispy Crab Wontons and Banana Spring Rolls.
how fun to have dinner topped off with fireworks :-)
I saw the fireworks from a distance that night and couldn’t figure out what the occasion was! I have yet to eat at Lieu’s, but I hear it’s great. Nice photo as well.
By the way, you stopped by Liquid Highway the other day and I met you at the register!
Carla, we were very pleased with Lieu’s. We especially liked the pineapple duck.
ann in alpharetta, yes the fireworks were a treat.
Allen, it was nice to meet you. I posted a photo of Liquid Highway on Wednesday.
