When I saw this scene it led me to envision a rendezvous … Maybe a visual metaphor of a rendezvous or maybe what was left over from two lovers having a morning chat as they enjoyed the sun. Many possibilities exist … Note that all of my photos shared this week were taken last weekend. Drop by tomorrow and see what we were up to which keep me from my daily photo hunt … See you tomorrow.

Today I’m sharing a close up photo of the fountain in front of the Greenville Symphony Association‎ building at 200 S Main St. The photo was taken looking into the sun so the light could be captured.

I’m sharing one more photo from Furman University today and I promise to move on to other subjects tomorrow. However, I really like the photo opportunities are Furman and I fully intended to return for another photo shoot … Today’s photo is of the rugby field in the evening sun … Lush green expanses of grass are a luxury in Greenville because most landscaping is dominated by our trees. Having originally being raised in Texas, where wide expanses of land were common and trees were rare, it is a treat to live in Greenville where the opposite is true. However, I found this photo especially appealing with all the open space … Also, please note the Fall colors. This will most likely be a taste of future photos over the next few weeks.

Saturday I had the pleasure of taking photos at the Robot Lab session during the Youth Economic Summit. I took many photos and with lots of effort narrowed my choice … I think it was the pride of accomplishment which I liked most in today’s photos … Click on the following thumbnails to see focus, awe, understanding, and success.

Continuing my mini-series of businesses, today I share a photo of the UPS store in downtown Greenville. They did me a great favor on Thursday of last week I am would like to say thank you. Also, I would like to point out the sign in the background … It says, “I’m Joe the UPS Store Guy“.

I like that this gas station (map location) includes the words “Service Center” in their name. I also like the fact that they live up to their name … This is another photo I have waited a long time to take because there are normally several cars at the pumps … Today’s photo was taken after business hours.
