Pink shutters at MB.maymebaker studio

Pink shutters at MB.maymebaker in downtown Greenville, SC. This photo was taken by Denton Harryman and posted at on 9/16/2008.
Today I’m sharing the pink shutters mentioned in yesterday’s post … In fact yesterday was a rare day for me. I did not take a single photo. It is true that all work and no play makes Jack Denton a dull boy. Hopefully I’ll have time for a photo hunt today.

The delicious colour of the shutters work well against the brick wall. I’m always happy to see unusual bold colours rather than staid black or white!

Blognote, yes I would never choose the color however for a store pink does a good job of catching one’s attention. I also think bright colors work to catch my readers eye when they are posted on

Kate, Connie liked the colors as well. Actually she is much more bold than I am in the colors she appreciates.

ann in alpharetta, you are right the store is on the second floor when you enter from Main Street however due the incline of the street the stores back entrance is on street level on Boggs Street. The block wall is a retainer wall for a small parking lot which was cut out of the slope.
