September 6, 2008 - The Orient on Main in morning light

The Orient on Main restaurant during the morning light in downtown Greenville, SC. This photo was taken by Denton Harryman and posted at GreenvilleDailyPhoto.com on 9/6/2008.
The Orient on Main is one door down from the Sushi Murasaki restaurant shown yesterday. Today’s photo takes advantage of the soft morning light while yesterday’s photo played with the evening sun.

PS: Today my sister and brother in law celebrate 40 years of marriage. Even if they were not relatives I would still say they are an enjoyable and loving couple who set an example for the rest of us.

Best wishes Leonda and Claude on your 40th anniversary.

When I look at a photograph I often can’t tell if it was taken in the morning or the evening. Perhaps there is a knack to knowing the difference? Both nice photos.

And do send my congratulations to your sister and brother in law. 40 years is some feat. you wrote so beautifully about them. We choose our friends, not our family but in your case it seems they are one and the same. You are blessed.

What a peaceful photo, it invites me in and makes me wish I were there walking along Main Street, soaking in the atmosphere.

Congratulations Leonda and Claude on 40 years.
